Funding is usually limited to $500 per academic year, and most grants are under $300.<\/p><p>As FLI Students, you qualify for the first qualifying need.<\/p><p>&#8220;To minimize immediate critical needs of students caused by acute financial stress&#8221;<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Eligible Non-Academic Expenses<\/span><\/p><ul><li>expenses associated with emergency medical, dental, vision procedures<\/li><li>unanticipated trips home due to a family emergency,<\/li><li>various fees related to postgraduate opportunities.<\/li><\/ul><p>While many of the necessary expenses that we as FLI students are not eligible, we highly encourage you to apply as a way of increasing visibility for the needs of FLI Students on campus.<\/p><p>*Fall 2023 &#8211; Spring 2024* &#8211; You can access the emergency funding application <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSftPta-LatzXOej8y-quTHgbM3pfP_GbDKnnpb8HGI22d4BIA\/viewform\">here.<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>You can find the official guidelines <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swarthmore.edu\/student-life\/student-emergency-funding-guidelines\">here<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><p>Having records of students requesting support and administration doing nothing is crucial to our advocacy work.
